How long does Botox last?
Results from BOTOX Cosmetic typically last about three to six months. After that the lines gradually return, and you can choose whether to repeat the treatment. It is a non-surgical treatment for lines on your forehead, done in the same office as your dental care.
Will whitening work on my crowns or fillings?
No. Whitening lightens natural enamel, but crowns, veneers and tooth-colored fillings keep the shade they were made in. If you have visible restorations near the front of your mouth, the team will talk through whether to whiten first and match any new work to your brighter shade afterward. CEREC crowns made here are color-matched to your natural teeth.
Are veneers permanent?
Veneers are a long-term commitment. A thin layer of enamel is usually removed so the veneer sits flush, and that enamel does not grow back, so a tooth that has had a veneer will always need a covering. It is one reason the conversation starts with whether whitening or a simpler repair would get you the result you want.
Does insurance cover cosmetic dentistry?
Usually not, since most dental plans only cover treatment needed for health rather than appearance. Some work that looks cosmetic, such as a crown on a broken front tooth, can be partly covered. Premier Family Dental is in-network with most PPO plans, and you get a written, itemized estimate with any benefits applied before treatment is scheduled.
Do I have to do all my cosmetic treatment at once?
No. Many people spread cosmetic work over months to fit their budget or schedule. The order still matters, so you get the full sequence planned at the start, with what comes first and why. You can then do one step at a time without anything having to be redone later.
Can I get Botox at a dental office instead of a med spa?
Yes. At Premier Family Dental, Botox and dermal fillers are offered in the same office where you get your dental care, so you are treated by a team that already knows you and your history. You get an honest answer about what the treatment can realistically do, and a written estimate, before anything is scheduled.
